Romans 12:4–84 For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, 5 so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. 6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith; 7 or ministry, let us use it in our ministering; he who teaches, in teaching; 8 he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness.

God designed us for community. These Scriptures remind us, "So in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others."

Dios nos diseñó para vivir en comunidad. Estas Escrituras nos recuerdan: "Así nosotros, siendo muchos, somos un solo cuerpo en Cristo, y todos miembros los unos de los otros."

Every member is valuable and needed. No one can truly say, "The church doesn't need me." You are an integral part of God's plan. This sense of belonging is fundamental to what the Word teaches about why the church exists.

Cada miembro es valioso y necesario. Nadie puede decir de verdad: “La iglesia no me necesita.” Eres una parte integral del plan de Dios. Este sentido de pertenencia es fundamental para lo que la Palabra enseña sobre por qué existe la iglesia.

The Apostle Paul, in 1 Corinthians 12, provides a powerful and enduring image of the church as the body of Christ. He uses the human body, with its diverse parts working in perfect harmony, as an analogy for the church.

Just as the eye cannot function without the hand, and the foot cannot operate independently of the ear, so too, individual Christians are interconnected and interdependent.

God, in His infinite wisdom, did not design us to be solitary believers, isolated and alone. He created us to be part of a community, a team, a body.

Dios, en Su infinita sabiduría, no nos diseñó para ser creyentes solitarios, aislados y solos. Nos creó para ser parte de una comunidad, un equipo, un cuerpo.

Each member, with their unique gifts and talents, plays a vital role in the overall health and functioning of the body. This isn't just a nice idea; it's a divine design.

Cada miembro, con sus dones y talentos únicos, cumple un papel vital en la salud y el funcionamiento general del cuerpo. No es solo una buena idea; es un diseño divino.

God intentionally structured the church in this way, recognizing that we need each other to grow, to thrive, and to fulfill His purposes.

Dios estructuró intencionalmente la iglesia de esta manera, reconociendo que nos necesitamos unos a otros para crecer, prosperar y cumplir Sus propósitos.

Imagine a basketball team where every player wants to be the star, the one who scores all the points. Chaos would ensue…

Imagina un equipo de baloncesto donde cada jugador quiere ser la estrella, el que anota todos los puntos. Sería un caos…

The team would be disorganized, ineffective, and ultimately, unsuccessful. The same principle applies to the church.

El equipo estaría desorganizado, sería ineficaz y, al final, fracasaría. Lo mismo sucede con la iglesia.
